New prices for Microsoft 365 in March 2022
Microsoft's first significant price increase for many of its commercial Office 365 / Microsoft 365 subscription plans is expected in March next year. Microsoft will increase the global price of most of its commercial Office 365 and Microsoft 365 subscriptions, on March 1st, 2022. Prices for consumers, education, and the highest-end Microsoft 365 E5 SKU will not rise at that time, officials have said. The increases range from $12 per user per year for Microsoft 365 Business Basic to $48 per user per year for Microsoft 365 E3. Microsoft is in some cases raising prices to match the competition, officials said. In other cases, prices are being adjusted to reflect the considerable value added to the Office 365 / Microsoft 365 suites in recent years.
